The Photinia Serrulata, also known as Red Robin Tree or occasionally the Christmas Berry, is a group of evergreen shrubs grown specifically for glossy, dark green adult foliage, white flowers and brilliant red tinted young leaves; in the spring, they unfold to give a stunning display.

Give photinias a warm, sheltered spot, in sun or partial shade. They like fertile, well-drained soil that doesn’t get waterlogged or become very dry. Some species need neutral or acid soil.

Makes fantastic hedging plants for screening windbreak and also go for wild life as the little birds love to hide and nest in the evergreen foliage
