‘Cox’s Orange Pippin’ is an excellent desert apple bearing medium sized fruit. It is in pollinator group 3, so it will require another pollinator. To gain the most favourable crop it does need good soil and weather conditions. Although you will be rewarded as the fruit is in rich in flavour. The apples are orange-red in colour with a stripy green-yellow pattern. It produces fruit at any point between October and January. It is a hardy tree and spot with full sun and some shelter is preferred.
