Discovery’ is a compact growing dessert apple that bares fruit with good keeping qualities. It is a hardy tree with good resistances to disease, due to its nature its good for a smaller garden. It crops earlier than most during August to September. The apples are a bright crimson with some yellow undertones and has a firm texture. It is in pollinator group 3, so it will require another pollinator. It has spring flowering white blossom and prefers a location with full sun with preferably some shelter.
