Apple Tree: Malus Domestica: Egremont Russet

£30.00

The well renowned ‘Egremont Russet’ is a great option for more northerly, colder and higher rainfall areas. It bears consistent and good crops of apples. It has a pinkish flowering blossom in spring. The fruit is yellow-green with a brown-red/russet coloured coating. Its flavour is often characterised as quite nutty and is distinctive from other eating apples. It crops between the months of October to December. It is in pollinator group 2 so it will require another pollinator to bear fruit. It is a hardy tree and can tolerate full sun and partial shade, some sheltering can be beneficial.
