Apple Tree: Malus Domestica: James Grieve
£30.00
‘James Grieve’ is a great option for a garden in a difficult location. It is a reliable and hardy variety with a consistent and heavy crop. The apple is a yellow colour with speckled and striped deep orange-red patterns. The fruit has a softer texture and is both juicy and tangy in flavour. It is in pollinator group 3 and so it will need another pollinator to crop. It crops from September onwards and is best eaten fresh. As a tree it performs better in more northern areas. If possible a position in full sun with some sheltering is advised.
