The apple tree ‘Katy’ is a vigorous dessert apple with consistent heavy crops. The fruit is prominently a striking and bright pinkish-red colour. A juicy apple with white flesh having a a sweet but slightly tangy flavour. Its pink-white blossom is another attractive feature to this variety. It is in pollinator group 3 so it will require another pollinator. It crops from very early to late autumn. It is hardy and a spot with full sun and some shelter is preferred.
