A medium-sized, evergreen shrub also known as Golden Hedging Honeysuckle or Poor Man’s Box. It’s a versatile plant that can be used as a hedge, specimen shrub, groundcover, or topiary. Here are some characteristics of Lonicera nitida ‘Baggesen’s Gold’:

Small, oval to round leaves that are light green in spring, pale yellow or golden in summer, and bronze in winter. In the sun, the leaves can take on a platinum blond colour, and in the shade, they can deepen to chartreuse.

Tiny white flowers that appear in spring and can sometimes develop into small violet berries.

Grows 15–20 cm per year and can form a dense, compact mound of arching branches. It can be clipped into a neat shape.
