A pretty (and unusual) addition to the mixed or shrub border, this daphne produces its rich yellow flowers in late spring and early summer – and these are followed later in the season by bright red berries. It’s ideal for placing next to a patio or entrance, where you can take full advantage of the flowers rich perfume, which in sheltered gardens will fill the surrounding air.
Position: full sun or partial shade Soil: well-drained, humus-rich soil, slow-growing.

Flowering period: May to June  – Hardiness: borderline hardy (may need winter protection)

This shrub is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.
