Leucothoe axillaris Firestar 2litre pot

A variegated form of this small evergreen bush, very decorative in all seasons. Its young red foliage gives way to green leaves edged with cream, which then turn purple in the cold. In spring, the plant is adorned with small bell-shaped cream-white flowers. Perfect for the garden or in pots with its spreading habit, this plant grows in moist, non-limestone soil, in partial shade. Firstar becomes about 60 cm high and 40 cm wide. This evergreen shrub grows well in an acidic, moist, permeable soil and can be planted in both full sun and semi-shade. The habit is dense and compact. Curly  is a beautiful plant for the garden, as an accent plant or for in pot on balcony or terrace
