Plum Tree: Prunus Domestica: Opal

The plum tree ‘Opal’ is consistently fruiting, compact and hardy. Bearing roundish red-purple dessert gages. In early spring it produces small white flowers. It then bears fruit mid to late summer starting off green and ripening into its true colour. A spot with full sun but with some shelter is ideal for planting.
