Purple Beech Bare Root Hedging — Trade Pack x 500

Plant the foundation of a stunning boundary with Purple Beech (Fagus sylvatica purpurea) bare root whips at 40–60 cm. This smaller grade is the go-to choice for establishing new hedgelines from scratch, offering exceptional value on large-scale planting schemes where volume and establishment speed matter most.

Purple Beech brings rich copper-purple foliage through spring and summer, turning warm russet in autumn — and uniquely retains its dead leaves through winter, providing screening and structure all year round.

Why Trade Buyers Choose Purple Beech

• Rich purple-copper foliage — a premium alternative to Green Beech
• Retains dead leaves through winter for year-round screening
• Ideal whip grade for new hedgelines and large-scale planting schemes
• Fast-establishing bare root stock — plant between November and March
• Tolerates most well-drained soils including chalk and clay
